I see myself in the thumbnail again! It’s an honor to be in a compilation with all these other nerds who are just as happy to see this game remade as I was. I TTYD was my first ever RPG that I played when I was 5 years old. I can’t remember if I’ve done any other full playthroughs since I was a kid, so I can’t wait to play through it all over again next year!

I agree! Super Paper Mario needs love. While it's not like the 1st two games, the story is amazing & it's a fun game. The 1st one hasn't got a remake & PM64 is sadly locked behind digital download (Nintendo Switch Online N64 Expansion) so those who can only get physical (like myself can't play it). A Sticker Star remake should NEVER exist!

@@zoltarservin510 Sticker Star was the game where Paper Mario lost a lot (the customisable attacks via badges & basic attacks were replaced with finite stickers, & fighting enemies is not a necessity, due to the lack of exp & levelling up, so running away is better, & running from enemies fails often, where before, it was guaranteed if the meter was filled above the "okay" bubble, & just drops coins. I only said that it shouldn't get a remake out of fear that future Paper Mario games will lose basic attacks, badges, unique NPCs & partners. I have nothing against anyone who likes Sticker Star & the games made after it. I didn't mind Color Splash, even if it wasn't like Paper Mario 1 or 2 (the story was nice & Huey was a great character)

Really good game! I have always wanted to play it since I saw Whoisthisgit's videos on it & then went to watch Chuggaconroy's LPs of the first three games. But now I can thanks to the remake! I would certainly recommend this game, it has unique characters & an exciting adventure story, & an RPG that has elements of platforming & puzzles.

While I didn’t mind the Super Paper Mario game for the Wii and (somewhat) enjoyed color splash, Thousand Year Door has earned a special place in my heart and will forever be my favorite of the genre. So seeing Nintendo revisit this classic and make it possible to return to childhood nostalgia is a massive win for them!

"Whats great about this is if you own the original, this is a free upgrade."... Um, no. You still have to BUY the remake if you want to play the remake. The Thousand Year Door came out nearly 20 years ago on the Nintendo GameCube, now here comes the remake 3 console generations later on the Nintendo Switch. It would have been correct to say "If you own the original, then this is just an amazing upgrade." If you have never played this game, please do yourself and everyone else a favor by buying it and playing it for yourself. We need all the help we can get in proving to Nintendo that this is the kind of Paper Mario they need to keep making.

The only time we got to play as Paper Luigi...he was only there for ONE chapter, the final area &...Super Dementio happened... 😑 Dementio robbed us of Paper Luigi! Hopefully, if Super Mario RPG & Paper Mario: TTYD Remake gets enough attention & copies sold, then maybe we will one-day get a Paper Luigi spinoff that has TTYD's engine & mechanics (badges, partners, action commands, etc.), or a true Paper Mario 4 (Sticker Star should NOT be the true PM4!) that lets us play as Paper Luigi. That's if they choose to, or they remake PM64 first. I hope they never remake Sticker Star, though. A remake of Super is fine though, as long as it's engine & mechanics don't become the new mechanic for future Paper Mario games after (unless it's a Super Paper Mario 2).
